You know, for doing their homework at the counter… […] On a day like today in the Woodlands, we make our own maple candy. Time for the family to put their texting thumbs to further use…Thumb pianos from the sawmill! What’s there to do? Oh yeah, get the new sleds out! It’s that time of the year when we move the crew off sawmill work and on to Pearl Vineyard/Winery work…just hitched ’em up to the press. The sawmill work crew is quickly becoming a sailing crew! Great afternoon on the lake in the SeaKing with these guys. No work at the sawmill today. It’s time for fishin’ at the trout pond. Pancakes and trout, it’s what’s for breakfast! The crew installed the rudder and tiller today. Yea, we can steer now. Oh, and we got an emergency paddle too, because ya never know… […] With rain in the forecast over the next few days, it was a perfect time for our annual tree planting in the woodlands. And the crew really worked hard. Our original sawmill sign was crushed by a falling tree in the recent wind storm. I know! So ironic. But, the crew put a new one up today. btw, they’ve gone into the woodlands wild now. On a school night! […] |
