The boys decorated their dust masks and put on their bandannas and safety sun glasses but it’s still hard to make sanding fun. And it’s all sanding all the time from now till the finishing phase starts…

After a week off for tomfoolery with cousins, it’s a back-to-work Monday for the Blues Brothers.

The goal is to make a rowing pram this summer, but we’re making provisions for it to become a sailboat later. So today we’re installing a dagger board trunk! That raised some eyebrows.

Today we’re doing a lesson on proper lifting…use your leg muscles, not your back! They got it quickly of course. The boat weighs about 40 pounds now. Time to flip it and start on the interior framing.
