The woodlands sawmill went off the grid! It wasn’t a planned thing or given any forethought. The top of a cherry tree snapped off and caught a gust from on high and took out every electrical connection. The pole at the sawmill was truncated just above its transformer. The worst of it was DTE barricading the only road in and out for eight days and leaving us with an early American lifestyle. See our new clothes dryer and the master of wood stove cooking. And now we’re back. Thank you, DTE 16 hr/day crew!
