The Woodlands is not exactly a lodge pole pine tree farm; it’s a craggily stand of hardwood trees like locust, ash, maple, cherry, and elm woven together. It’s rough stock for a log cabin, a rustic one, er…a ‘natural’ one. We’re using what we’ve got to build this beauty. But we will not get slivers! No thank you!! The crew has new work gloves.
