After some exciting gluing and clamping, we’re back to boring. The pun never gets old. Boring through one of the glued-up double side walls today. These guys are old hands at the drill press now. The low-speed drill does not warrant ear protection, but occasionally the forstner bit loses clearance and squeals like a pig stuck under a gate or a dog with his tail caught in the car door. I don’t know where the boys get these expressions or how they know that sound. Anyway, they hate it and the threat of it is the reason for the earmuffs.
