We’re making parts one at a time, posts, plates, ridge beam, girts, tie-beams, and more. So far only three flavors: locust, cherry, and a bit of elm. But there will be others, I’m sure, depending on which way the wind blows in the woodlands.
I know it’s cruel and unusual to make these guys do math in the off-season, but cmon, they’re both in their respective ‘egg-head math’ groups in school, so why not layout out the roof lines with a little geometry. It’s not like it’s fractal geometry…
